Rom 10:6 Those acceptable to God will never ask, "Who will go up to heaven to bring Christ down?" (do this or that for me YOU DIDN'T FINISH THE WORK)
Rom 10:7 Neither will they ask, "Who will go down into the world of the dead to raise him to life?" (Christ failed and is still in hell)
Rom 10:8 All who are acceptable simply say, "The message is as near as your mouth or your heart." And this is the same message we preach THE WORD OF FAITH (CEV).
Think of this verse the next time you pray and ask God to do something for you. When JESUS said IT IS FINISHED that settled it, it is done. Prayer has become a new creation not as in the days of old when God led the Jews by the hand and spoon fed them when they cried out for help. That was the covenant the He made with Moses the one He fulfilled with the death on the cross. Now we are back in the shoes of Abraham who by FAITH spoke those things that be not as though they were, bringing things hoped for into existence with his heart felt words as the SONS OF GOD should.
